The USB-EnOcean Gateway interfaces USB to the EnOcean radio utilising bi-directional twoway communication. Up to 128 actuators and unlimited amount of transmitters can be supported. This provides the opportunity for an exceptionally broad range of application. It is now possible to interface desk top / laptop computers (together with other devices that feature USB connectivity) with the EnOcean radio. This plug & play solution now creates the opportunity to connect EnOcean empowered devices with software based applications. Consequently, creating centralized on screen visualisation and control over EnOcean enabled products. In field applications where installation is hindered by radio transmission challenges, it may be a used as replacement, as are the capabilities to solve transmission problems in existing installations.

The capability to communicate via the original EnOcean telegram structure creates a broad range of real world applications. All types of devices supporting RS232 data interchange can now be interfaced to the EnOcean radio. The flexibility of the RS232 ensures connectivity to programmable controllers including; PLCs, control systems, desk top and laptop computers. Readymade communication drivers are available for PC and PLC applications. This out of the box solution is ideal for all control systems utilizing EnOcean empowered devices, therefore creating centralized on screen visualisation and control over otherwise stand alone systems. In addition; the gateway may be used as receiver only, several RS232 receives can also be connected to the receiver wires.

Repeater >

• Level 1 / Level 2 selectable modes.
• All EnOcean radio telegrams are amplified or only Dolphin telegrams are amplified as selected. The "Dolphin only" mode of operation suits existing applications when new "Dolphin" enabled devices are introduced to an already existing installation.
• Powered by low voltage 6V DC (cable included) or via a USB type A connector.

Repeater for the EnOcean radio based installations. The repeater is designed for low-level amplification of radio telegrams between EnOcean
sensors and receivers. Typically, the repeater is used if the sensor location is outside the receiving range or if there are communication challenges between sender and receiver, (e.g. building of walls, moving of furniture’s / cupboards etc). The repeater automatically receives all valid EnOcean telegrams within its receiving range and resends the same amplified telegrams. The level 1 repeater will only amplify and retransmit the original telegrams, i.e. telegrams coming directly from a transmitter are processed. Additionally, to original telegrams, the 2-Level repeater also outputs amplified telegrams, which have previously been amplified once prior.
Either all EnOcean radio telegrams are amplified or in the "Dolphin only" telegrams are amplified; mode selection is via DIP-switches.
